Please look again at the bridal party.  The girls skirts are in alternating pastel colors.  Each bridesmaid has chosen a unique top.  The groomsmen's black suits match the black worn by the girls whereas their ties return to the alternating pastel colors.  Erin's bouquet combines the pastel colors.

Their choice of venue was unique too- the Chicago Children's Museum.  Chicago has many unusual, yet classy places for your ceremony or reception like the Lincoln Park Zoo, The Chicago Fine Arts Exchange, The Chicago Historical Society and Navy Pier.

Vanessa and Alan have come to Chicago from Alexandria, Virginia for their ceremony on Valentine's day.  They chose the observation deck of the Hancock Center for their ceremony. Vanessa made her wedding dress and veil arrangement warm enough for a winter's day-she did not wear a coat.  She got lots of compliments on it both from tourists on the observation deck as well as rave reviews from the public on Michigan Avenue.

In planning wedding ceremonies, creativity will always beat dollars spent.  Great weddings are seldom a function of money.  Earning my living as a wedding officiant, I am always being surprised by the creativity my couples bring to their ceremonies and receptions.
