This event, your recessional walk or 'finale', is without exception as important as anything you did within your ceremony (and that includes your vow and ring exchanges). This is your ceremony's last event, as well as your first statement as husband and wife. When executed with the skill and poise of a competent lead actor and actress (which you are) the fun and photo opportunities this creates for you, while interacting with your guests,- is unparalleled.

After your kiss and introduction at the ceremony's conclusion, I will ask your guests to please rise and line the sides of the aisle, facing inboard. I will see that your photographer and videographer have taken their

positions and are ready. The DJ or musicians will now begin playing as the two of you begin moving through your guests. These guests will be either applauding you, blowing bubbles, releasing balloons, tossing bird seed (in lieu of rice), popping confetti poppers, ringing hand bells, waving sparklers or any other such manner of revelry you have chosen for them.

When accessories such as hand bells or bubbles are chosen for the guests, these items should be on their seats prior to the start of the ceremony. Your recessional walk should proceed seamlessly with the ceremony's conclusion. Too much time is lost if we have to distribute these items at ceremony's end.

The music that you have chosen for this should be of the lively, turn it loose variety. This fun event seg ways your great ceremony into it's great reception. Don't hold back! When interviewing with you, I will show you video footage of all of these options, removing the guesswork in finding the one that's just right for you.
