Michael and Emily have come to Chicago with four close friends to be married.  They have chosen well.  Like many such couples throughout the nation that I have worked for, they have chosen to travel to some other location, indeed some other state to be married.  Michael and Emily chose Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park for their setting on a beautiful Fall evening (9 p.m.).  Other couples chose Navy Pier, the Sears Tower, The John Hancock Center, Millennium Park, the list goes on.

Nationwide, couples looking for a non-local setting for their ceremony often fall for the wedding mills of Las Vegas, or some gaudy wedding chapel in the "Dolly Wood" hills of Tennessee.  Allured by travel packages and other enticements, they ultimately find themselves getting spliced by some minister who performs assembly line weddings.

As a wedding minister I can offer you the nation's classiest city for your get away wedding.  And if you allow me, I'll shoot 6.3 mega pixel photography of your ceremony as I do so.  The photos on this page are examples of this.  The pictures are yours at no cost and will be sent to you on CD.  Kinda beats a wedding chapel doesn't it?

Abby and Zachary From Indianapolis chose the grounds of the Lincoln Park Conservatory for their summer's evening wedding.  With guests awaiting, she arrived by carriage and walked down the aisle with her father as escort.  Flower beds, fountains and Chicago's skyline are now part of her wedding album.

Their friends and family have come from Chicagoland, Indiana and Michigan for the event.  One of Chicago's great restaurants was the site of the reception.  The city's countless shops, museums and amusements provided everyone their distraction of choice.

You can cruise the Chicago river by chartered boat, or stand on the east end of Navy Pier thereby placing the entire Chicago skyline in your photography.  You could choose the Sears Tower or John Hancock Center for the two of you or your small group (and they want charge you for this either!). At night, your photography would have the shimmering city beneath you as you take your vows by twilight.

The city of Chicago is truly the place for your get away wedding.
