Whether your event is indoors or out, a wedding ceremony at a residence can rival most any banquet facility in terms of its impact on an audience (and at a fraction of the cost). Yes, most residential wedding ceremonies are smaller affairs, but some I've participated in had hundreds of guests, catered food that rivaled anything on Michigan Avenue, and music by small orchestras. You can do anything in a residential wedding ceremony.

For smaller ceremonies like Ken and Mary's shown here, a planning session and rehearsal were not necessary. We planned their ceremony by phone and email. I gave them all the instruction they needed when I met them- prior to the start of the ceremony. As evidenced by these photos, they gave a beautiful and entertaining performance for their guests, all in the comfort of their backyard.
